I wrote this piece after a couple of weeks of interviewing one of the Snape’s Wives and have written it up in the first person viewpoint using her words.
I wrote it to share with the Sydney S&M (BDSM) scenesters, as I was interested in the dynamics of a relationship with an authoritarian character who is “fictional” and how and whether this works in real life.
At the bottom of this piece, I’ve included comments from other Snape fans about how he has influenced their lives. I’ve taken their names off to give them privacy.
