NRL makes me feel nauseous

Seeing those young rugby league players on TV bashing each other up: Blacktown v Lower Mountains. The young players and the older ones make me feel nauseous — I have to change channels when they’re on as a lead story because it’s always about violence or a sexist gangbang. I feel revolted seeing the rubgy uniform at all.

I won’t be watching Eels v Storm — even thinking those names makes me feel ill. I read today that the Storm wives were on a separate bus for some reason and will be separated from their husbands. Maybe not separating them would be better.

I wish this sport was banned — it gives rise to disgusting behaviour. Maybe it’s the drugs and the big $$$ they earn and extra leisure time — none of them want to give any of that up.

I don’t like their boofy build either, they look like neanderthals. The whole code should be made amateur with real-looking athletic people instead of steroidal cocaine-addled boofheads.

[This was prompted by Katie Page's pro-NRL rant today. She's an NRL director.]
