Younger generation are savvy

It’s encouraging to know the younger generation haven’t had their minds brainwashed and turned to pulp by the constant stream of advertising they’ve endured. Instead, it has made them more savvy!

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is known for being popular with the younglings, but instead they gave him a grilling worthy of a Walkley Award-winning journalist on the ABC’s Q&A last Monday. No punches pulled.

They’re bombarded by as much pap as the rest of us, but we’ll all expected to put up with it. Since they’re the next wave of voters, hopefully politicians and lobbyists and PR people will realise that lies and half-truths aren’t doing them any favours.
