Was a sub-editor on the newsdesk at The Sydney Morning Herald until the latest round of redundancies in June 2011 when sub-editing was outsourced.
I was features editor/writer in Bath, United Kingdom, at .net magazine, Future Publishing, which was sold overseas and translated into several languages.
Otherwise, held various full-time reporter positions at:
Cumberland community newspapers.
Daily newspaper reporter at Queensland’s regional daily, The Maryborough Chronicle.
Reporter for weekly Perth newspaper, Times of the West, a WA metropolitan free newspaper. Had some freelance work published in The Daily News.
